Acceptance of Terms

These terms govern access to advisory materials, workshops, and related services offered by Northstar Fractional CIO through brilliant-grid.one. By requesting information, attending sessions, or continuing to use the site after notice of updates, you confirm that you have authority to bind your organization where applicable. If you disagree with any portion, discontinue use and contact welcome@brilliant-grid.one to close outstanding administrative items. We publish material changes with a revised effective date and summarize adjustments at the top of this page to support enterprise procurement reviews.

Service Description and Boundaries

Services comprise strategic technology leadership, documentation, facilitation, and review activities described in individual statements of work or plan descriptions. Deliverables are advisory in nature and do not constitute legal, tax, or regulated audit opinions unless separately contracted with appropriately licensed partners. Implementation work, on-call production support, and hands-on administration remain client responsibilities unless explicitly added in writing. We may decline engagements that present conflicts of interest or insufficient access to decision makers needed to produce defensible guidance.

Liability and Remedies

To the fullest extent permitted under the Republic of Korea, liability for direct damages arising from advisory services is limited to fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding written notice. Consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages are excluded except where non-waivable law provides otherwise. Clients remain responsible for business decisions taken on the basis of recommendations. Where third-party services are referenced, separate terms apply between the client and those vendors. Any dispute will first attempt good-faith negotiation for thirty days before escalation.

Intellectual Property and License

Templates, frameworks, and written artifacts delivered under paid engagements are licensed for internal business use within the contracting entity. Redistribution, resale, or public republishing requires prior written consent. Client-provided materials remain client property. Feedback you voluntarily supply may be used in aggregated, non-identifying form to improve service quality. Trademarks displayed on the site belong to their respective owners and do not imply endorsement beyond descriptive accuracy.

Governing Law and Venue

These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction. Exclusive jurisdiction for disputes not resolved through negotiation rests with the courts of Seoul, except where consumer protection rules grant clients mandatory rights in their home jurisdiction. International clients acknowledge that remote delivery may involve cross-border processing described in the Privacy Notice.
